Anna Maria Island doesn't have a direct flight — and that's part of why it still feels the way it does. From Tampa or Sarasota it's about 45 minutes. From Orlando, roughly two hours. The free island trolley stops nearby and runs the length of Anna Maria Island, connecting Manatee Public Beach, Holmes Beach, Coquina Beach, and Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach.
