Positive: Everything about the place was great. The building was old (17c), but it was furnished to suit it's age, without looking old fashioned. The bookshelves & fittings were filled with books, dvd's etc so that the place looked properly lived in, rather than just a bare holiday home. For us it was a home from home. Our dog was able to be left to roam with out worry that it would run off or get lost & she befriended the owners' dog, Rosie, which was a bonus. Facilities around the place were also excellent with a shared pool always available, table tennis, snooker & pool rooms too. There were some board games including a chess set, which I managed to teach my daughter how to play during our stay.

Negative: Can't think of anything apart from maybe the bites we got from midges/mozzies, but you'd get some of those wherever you stay in France when it's very hot weather. The rest of the wildlife was very friendly.

Summary: A wonderful place to stay which made our holiday exceptional
