High above Lake Logan, cradled by the ancient, clay-rich hills of Hocking County, sits LakeVue Pointe. This private sanctuary is the culmination of a lifetime devoted to art and the quiet poetry of the place.
Many of the owner's works, including oil paintings, watercolors, and intricate pen-and-ink drawings, find their home here, alongside clay sculptures shaped from the very earth beneath her feet. She designed every detail of the home with love. Soaring vaulted ceilings turn the great room into a cathedral of light, illuminating warm hickory and cool marble floors, and a dramatic, hand-carved, gilded Corinthian capital that bridges the gourmet kitchen and living space.
Sunlight pours through floor-to-ceiling windows in the morning, painting the floors in shifting gold and revealing breathtaking views of the lake. Inside, modern comfort meets artistic elegance. You can sink into the reclining leather sectional by the fireplace, or find ultimate peace in the dedicated Spa Room, featuring a full-body infrared therapy bed, a private cedar sauna, and a massage chair that melts the world away.
Throughout the home, every piece tells a story. Most notably, an original bronze by Drouot—a graceful water nymph titled “La Source,” once exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1890—stands in quiet dialogue with luminous hand-blown glass from local Jack Pine Studio, the bronze of the “Dancer” by Degas and collections of English Bone China. Every corner invites you to slow down and truly see.
Step outside onto seven forested acres, where the story continues. The Butterfly Garden hums with life, while the "Pagona" garden offers moments of serene reflection. "The Guardian"—a sculpture built from historic Lancaster stone steps—watches over winding paths, and clay figures handcrafted by local artists nestle among towering hemlocks, honoring Logan’s century-old pottery legacy. The master suite offers a deep soaking tub and a secret garden that frames the morning sunrises. A firepit invites starlit evenings.

LakeVue Pointe is a very upscale home with privacy on 2 acres of gardens and woods.
Take your morning coffee on a comfortable walk around the lake and up through the ravine. Stop to enjoy on a bench along the way. Easy walking and beautiful views! Take out a canoe or kayak on the mirror-like water. Explore the lovely coves of the lake-finding the water lily cove and the picturesque boat docks in front of one remaining old barn from a century ago. Rent a boat at the marina or bring your own. Cruise around the lake any afternoon. Drop a hook in the water and try your luck. Lake Logan is touted as the "best fishing lake in Ohio". Stop and take a dip in the water to cool off on a hot day. There is no end to the adventure you may experience here at our amazing property. (Let alone in 10+ state parks with a multitude of hikes, caves and waterfalls known as the Hocking Hills Region.) There are a multitude of beautiful spots to relax and enjoy the grounds and take in the ever changing views of the lake. The added enjoyment of the water rounds out your experience to the region. If you never left our property to enjoy a hike in the caves or a zip line through the canopy, you would have a special vacation enjoying the property and the special energy of the Hocking Hills.
We have kayaks, canoes and mountain bikes that you may use at no extra charge.
We have 2 deer feeding stations in the ravine. They are lite up at night so you may enjoy the wildlife as they come in to eat through the evening. You will see them often as they sprint across the property. June is especially fun when the fawns start following their mommies around the area.
This special addition is the owner's former residence. She designed and built it. It showcases her artwork and collections. She currently resides in Panama City Beach, Florida. It is presented by Cut Above Cabins, known for 5 star accommodations since 2007.
